"We are excited to invest in this cutting-edge repair equipment," said Mike Gajewski, SAS ACoE Technical sales manager. "Traditionally, aircraft maintainers have scrapped electrical components where the source of intermittent faults could not be identified.

"IFDIS's capability to easily detect faulty aircraft electrical components offers our commercial and military customers a savings in both time and money while improving aircraft availability."

Derco said that with the system it can offer fast turnaround for repaired components.

Derco is certified by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, OEM-authorized and approved by Lockheed Martin for the overhaul of C-130B-H components.
