Military gets mission readiness support

DULLES, Va., April 10 (UPI) -- A subsidiary of Raytheon has received eligibility to provide the U.S. Pacific Command and its directorates mission readiness support services.

The contract Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC -- a blanket purchase agreement -- is from the U.S. General Services Administration. Its potential value is estimated at $33 million.

The agreement covers analytical support, consulting services, technical writing support, support to facilitate military exercise, management of command programs and projects and logistics and sustainment support.

"This blanket purchase agreement will give us the opportunity to offer USPACOM customers the Raytheon team's proven training and training support solutions, such as those we provide under the Warfighter FOCUS contract and other programs," said Bob Williams, vice president of RTSC's Warfighter Support Services business unit and program manager for the Raytheon-led Warfighter FOCUS team.

Raytheon Technical Services is one of several prime recipients of the GSA award in support of the military's Pacific Command.
