SPAWAR contract for iGov

RESTON, Va., March 15 (UPI) -- IT systems integrator iGov has joined the roster of contractors providing services to the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic.

The award, an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity vehicle, is for one year of performance with four one-year options.

Its value for all recipients is a maximum of $500 million for commercial-off-the-shelf hardware, software and support services in the areas of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, information operations and information assurance.

"Our expertise in systems integration and developing innovative tactical and ISR solutions places iGov in a position to expertly serve the information technology needs presented by SPAWAR," iGov Senior Vice President of Sales Jack Pooley said. "We look forward to a successful contract and to our continued goal to provide our customers with exceptional ISR technology capabilities.

"We offer a great supporting team of ISR OEMs and specialty subcontractors with unique ISR expertise."

Eight other companies have also received the contract.
