CSC providing flight simulator training

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Jan. 25 (UPI) -- CSC of Virginia reports it will provide instructors for U.S. Navy flight simulator training under a Fielded Training Systems Support III contract.

CSC was awarded the contract for Navy simulator training programs in 2010.

Under the task order received, the company will supply instructors to two U.S. Naval Air Stations in Virginia -- Oceana and Norfolk – and two Naval Air Stations in Florida, Jacksonville and Mayport.

CSC said work on the task order will be conducted in conjunction with its subcontractor, Florida's Logistic Services International Inc.

The task order has a base performance period of one year with four one-year options. If all options are exercised, it would be worth a total of $60 million, the company said.
