WASHINGTON, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- A-T Solutions Inc. has been given a $38 million task order to train U.S. Marines in countermeasures for improvised explosive devices.

The task order was given by the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic in support of the Marine Corps Engineer Center.

A-T Solutions said that under the SeaPort-e task order, it will support Marine operating forces and meet the Marine Air Ground Task Force C-IED training requirements, give Marine engineers subject matter expertise.

"We're proud to continue working closely with the Marine Corps to provide this critical counter-IED training to help save the lives of our service members," said Dennis Kelly, president and chief executive officer of A-T Solutions.

"In addition to having one of the largest teams of explosive ordnance disposal experts in the private sector, our organization provides real-time analysis and intelligence of IED threats, which drives relevancy for our training, products and services about enemy tactics, techniques and procedures.

"This unparalleled capability allows us to help organizations successfully accomplish their mission."

A-T Solutions, an anti-terrorism and counter-terrorism firm with headquarters in Virginia, says it has "the greatest concentration" of EOD and C-IED defeat experts outside of the U.S. government.
