UTRECHT, Netherlands, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Estonia is using a traveler management system by the Netherland's WCC Smart Search and Match company for its E-Border immigration program.
The high-performance software is being used to process Advance Passenger Information and Passenger Name Record data against a set of pre-determined risk criteria.
"WCC is providing its ELISE ID advanced technology and its award winning name matching technology to perform an automated check of the passenger's information against the watch list," WCC said.
"The watch list matching takes just milliseconds to complete and is combined with Raytheon's Portera Solution" to assess the risk presented by each individual entering Estonia via flights from outside the Schengen zone.
"We feel confident in choosing WCC for this vital work," Ken-Marti Vaher, minister of the interior of the Republic of Estonia, said. "WCC has demonstrated that it is a very serious partner, with the sole objective of helping Estonia secure the nation's borders."
WCC is a leader in smart search and match software and partners with large systems integrators to help build solutions that meet government needs.
