
CHELMSFORD, Mass., June 27 (UPI) -- Mercury Computer Systems of Massachusetts is delivering embedded products and integration services for Airborne Early Warning and Control Systems.
The multiyear award -- "from a global provider of products, services and solutions for military defense" – will optimize performance in systems enhancing warfighters' defensive capabilities.
"This design win is evidence of Mercury's long-term commitment to customer success," said Didier Thibaud, senior vice president and general manager, Mercury Computer Systems Advanced Computing Solutions business unit. "Our expertise in radar systems, ongoing support and enhancements for currently deployed subsystem components and ability to ease migration to new technologies enables our customers to field-enhance capabilities with focused investments and controlled risk."
Mercury said it will deliver high performance Ensemble multi-processing systems and carrier boards. In addition, Mercury will provide technology that optimizes processor resources for ultimate performance through a library of algorithm implementations and complete integration services.
Additional details of the contract were not provided by the company.
