Teen solves centuries-old math problem
MCLEAN, Va., May 12 (UPI) -- The U.S. Justice Department has added Booz Allen Hamilton to its prime contractors to support its modernization of information technology infrastructure.
The Information Technology Support Services 4 contract gives Booz Allen the opportunity to provide IT modernization and support services to a number of Justice Department agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration and the Executive Office for United States Attorneys.
With the addition of Booz Allen, 20 companies are now part of the $1.1 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award, which has a seven-month base period and six option years.
"For nearly two decades, Booz Allen has served as a trusted partner to the U.S. Department of Justice, delivering technology solutions that enhance collaboration and communication, which helps to protect national security and the American people," said Booz Allen Vice President Catherine Nelson.
Booz Allen said the contract will enable it to offer a range of IT support services and expertise designed to improve internal department business processes, including the analysis of costs, schedules and program effectiveness.
