MCLEAN, Va., April 21 (UPI) -- Virginia's Booz Allen Hamilton has been awarded a contract to support the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.

The contract is worth $71.5 million over two years and has a potential value of $189.4 million over five years.

Under the agreement, Booz Allen will help SSC Pacific assure superiority for the warfighter in the cyberspace domain. Work will include operations and requirements analysis; concept formulation and development; feasibility demonstrations; operational support with an added focus on analytic and technology capabilities.

Additional efforts will include software design and implementation, systems integration, test and evaluation and demonstration.

"With thousands of experienced cyber professionals, Booz Allen Hamilton continues to provide integrated, multidisciplinary solutions to the complex challenge that is cybersecurity," said Booz Allen Senior Vice President, Bob Noonan.

"To that end, a major focus is utilizing Booz Allen's deep experience within the advanced analytics sector. This approach will enable SSC Pacific to improve how they understand and manage their data, increasing the likelihood of mission success."

SSC Pacific is the principle U.S. Navy research, development, test and evaluation and acquisition center for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance and information operations.
