SKYDEX's contract with GDLS-C follows a July 2009 agreement with Oshkosh Defense to supply its blast-mitigating floor decking material for Oshkosh's new M-ATV, specially designed to handle Afghanistan's rugged terrain.

SKYDEX said its Convoy Deck has been installed in thousands of Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles in Afghanistan and Iraq, including the Buffalo and Cougar, both manufactured by Force Protection.

It is also standard equipment on the new MRAP All Terrain Vehicle produced by Oshkosh Defense.

SKYDEX is a privately held technology company with headquarters in Centennial, Colo., and specializes in developing impact mitigation, blast-limiting and vibration attenuation solutions for military and commercial applications.
