The company's AN/PRC-117F and its wideband successor, the AN/PRC-117G, were both cited in the publication's 2010 Big 25 annual award's network systems category for "having "a significant impact in defeating terrorists, preventing attacks and enabling troops to make the right decisions on the battlefield."
The Falcon II AN/PRC-117F multiband manpack radio was the first radio to integrate multiple frequency bands and waveforms in a single device, making it possible for forces to use one radio instead of many to communicate across the military enterprise.
The Falcon III AN/PRC-117G is the first JTRS Software Communications Architecture certified and NSA Type-1 certified wideband networking radio that delivers networking capabilities to forces on-the-move as well as access to high-bandwidth applications.
