USIS says the 250 government and private sector survey respondents ranked the evolving threat of cyberattacks against the United States as the top threat facing the country.

Mike Fraser, USIS Security Solutions Division president, said that the survey results suggest the growing importance of "risk management and accountability" to counter cyberthreats.

The survey results additionally listed terrorist activity as the second threat and insider threats and information security breaches as threats that tied for third.
