Trace Systems to support IT at Camp Sabalu

MCLEAN, Va., May 19 (UPI) -- Trace Systems Inc. has been selected to provide Camp Sabalu in Afghanistan with information technology and networking support services.

Trace Systems says it was awarded the contract for Camp Sabalu, located in Parwan province north of Afghanistan's capital Kabul, following a task order competition from Bagram Regional Contracting Center.

Virginia's Trace Systems says it will deploy its technical personnel to support Afghan and coalition operations at Camp Sabalu with closed circuit television and video teleconference services along with other IT and networking services.

"The personnel we are deploying in support of this new customer bring years of … expertise that will be needed to address the requirements within the new facility," Ben Dougan, Trace Systems operations director, said in a statement.

Trace Systems is a defense contractor used by the U.S. Department of Defense and Homeland Security among others providing mission critical communications, networking and IT solutions.
