Roke expands Resolve suite capabilities

ROMSEY, England, May 10 (UPI) -- British defense technologies developer Roke Manor Research has launched a next-generation electronic warfare solution to support soldiers in the field.

Roke announced its Resolve electronic warfare suite now includes the new TriQuad two antenna system. When the antennas are combined Roke says the coverage capabilities is from 2 megahertz to 3 gigahertz.

The antennas for the Resolve technology can be used separately, which, company officials say, offers troops the capability of deploying with only the equipment needed for the mission.

The TriQuad is designed to provide soldiers with an electronic warfare solution with capabilities on high-frequency, very high-frequency and ultra high-frequencies.

"For many dismounted troops the field of operation changes quickly," Gavin O'Connell, Roke Electronic Warfare operations manager, said in a statement.

"Electronic warfare operations in today's battle space therefore require intuitive, lightweight and rapidly deployable manpack systems to effectively monitor the diverse tactical environment."
