DynCorp contracted for work at Fort Bliss

FALLS CHURCH, Va., April 8 (UPI) -- DynCorp International said Wednesday it received a new contract from the U.S. Army to provide logistics support services at Fort Bliss in Texas.

U.S. company DynCorp was selected for the task order to support the Field Logistics Readiness Center based at Fort Bliss as part of the Field and Installation Readiness Support contract vehicle.

Under the $93 million deal award, DynCorp will provide logistics services to support equipment maintenance, depot repair and work order installation operations among other requirements at Fort Bliss.

"We are honored to be supporting the Army as part of the Field Logistics Readiness Center Team at Fort Bliss providing logistics support to the newly assigned 1st Armored Division, Stryker Brigades, and other units and activities under the Field and Installation Readiness Support contract," Bill Ballhaus, DynCorp International president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.
