WASHINGTON, March 18 (UPI) -- U.S. company Integral Systems Inc. announced the launch of its next-generation signal processor platform designed to support several military applications.

Satellite communications-interfaced systems developer Integral Systems says its RT Logic subsidiary has launched its new DG5000 signal processor technology.

Released at the Satellite 2010 Conference in Maryland, RT Logic's DG5000 offers intermediate frequency, radio frequency and baseband signal processing for unmanned aerial vehicles, jamming and missiles among other military applications.

"The DG5000 is the latest step in RT Logic's development of powerful signal processing technologies and software defined instrumentation to supercharge our solutions," Steve Williams, RT Logic Signal Instrumentation area manager, said in a statement.

"The DG5000 allows significant performance and functional advances in our signal detection, simulation and monitoring products and also enables a wide range of new systems and applications."
