
TEWKSBURY, Mass., March 10 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army exercised a contract modification with Raytheon for Patriot Air and Missile Defense System upgrades and engineering support services.
U.S. company Raytheon, the prime contractor for the Patriot Air and Missile Defense program, received the modification from the Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal.
Under the $152.4 million deal, Raytheon will continue providing the Patriot Air and Missile Defense program with engineering and testing along with integrating the latest upgrades.
"The engineering services program is the cornerstone of Raytheon's commitment to ensuring system performance and helping the Army achieve its goal of mission readiness," Sanjay Kapoor, Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems Patriot Programs vice president, said in a statement.
