
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates, March 8 (UPI) -- German Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence entered into a partnership with Advanced Integrated Systems to develop security solutions.
DFKI and AIS announced plans to jointly develop solutions to address evolving safety, security and crisis management requirements in the emergency response, security and defense markets.
The partnership, announced at the International Security and National Resilience Exhibition and Conference, which took place in the United Arab Emirates, will focus research on next-generation video and image data processing among other applications.
"The shared research and collaboration that will take place between AIS and DFKI marks an important and exciting new development in the field of civil safety and security," Khalfan Al Shamsi, head of AIS in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, said in a statement.
