ARLINGTON, Va., March 5 (UPI) -- The U.S. Navy selected CACI International Inc. to support a command-and-control program migration to strengthen tactical data efficiencies.
U.S. company CACI received the contract from the Navy's Command and Control Program Office. The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity deal is designed to support the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command.
Under the five-year IDIQ, CACI will help improve communications and networking systems as part of an initiative to transition legacy applications to a "fully integrated service approach," a release said.
"We are very pleased that the Navy's Command and Control Program Office has demonstrated its confidence in CACI's people, processes, and tools by awarding us this significant contract to support the warfighter," Bill Fairl, CACI president of U.S. operations, said in a statement.
