WALTHAM, Mass., March 2 (UPI) -- U.S. defense contractor Raytheon named a new chief technology officer and vice president in a move to advance integrated technology and research strategies.
Mark Russell, Raytheon Engineering, Technology and Mission Assurance vice president, announced the selection of William Kiczuk as chief technology officer and vice president.
Kiczuk, who has worked at Raytheon for almost 30 years, was appointed to the executive leadership role in a move to continue evolving strategies in technology and research with someone who has a thorough grasp of the company's ongoing initiatives.
"Bill leads with a deep understanding of our technologies from complex systems to components," Russell said in a statement.
"As chief technology officer, he'll leverage this broad domain knowledge to align Raytheon's world-class people and technology as we continue to meet our customers' most pressing needs.
