LOS ANGELES, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- U.S. company Helinet Technologies has released its new aerial surveillance technology enabling mobile video access for security and law enforcement authorities.

Helinet Technologies Tuesday announced the launch of its new HT 4Sight technology designed to provide security officials and other personnel with live video feeds from aerial surveillance systems on mobile devices like smart phones.

The HT 4Sight offers mission critical real-time encrypted video that can support decision-making during an emergency response operation wherever mobile service is provided. The technology also provides authorities with control access of the remote cameras.

"HT 4Sight represents the natural next step in real-time transmission of critical aerial surveillance video footage, improving the ability of law enforcement and government to preserve the public's safety," Ron Magocsi, Helinet Technologies vice president, chief technical officer, said in a statement.

"With HT 4Sight, soldiers, officers and commanders are now better equipped to make split-second tactical decisions no matter where they happen to be."
