Teen solves centuries-old math problem
GREENBELT, Md., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Maryland-based SGT Inc. has acquired Master Solutions in a move to expand its network-centric and situational awareness market reach.
SGT announced its acquisition of MSL, a Colorado-based company, will officially take effect Thursday. Defense market software and systems engineering company MSL will become a subsidiary of SGT.
SGT says the MSL acquisition is part of an effort to expand on the company's space situational awareness and net-centric capabilities among other applications for the defense market.
"The addition of MSL's defense and space-related skill sets to SGT's existing capabilities will create powerful synergies to benefit our Defense Department and civilian customers while providing exciting opportunities for our employees," Kam Ghaffarian, SGT chief executive officer and president, said in a statement.
