BALTIMORE, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- View Systems announced the successful integration of its threat-detection technologies at a ceremony for Macao's 10th anniversary marking its colonial handover.
U.S. company View Systems integrated 50 of its ViewScans threat detection portals for the recent Charm of Macao 10-year anniversary celebration. Company officials say the scanning technology successfully supported security efforts during the event.
The ViewScan technologies, which were deployed at the main entrance of the event, are designed to scan up to 1,200 people ever hour for potential threats.
"The ViewScan units performed flawlessly," Gunther Than, View Systems chief executive officer, said in a statement.
"The utilization of the ViewScan units was authorized personally by the Chief Executive of Macao."
