
LANCASTER, Pa., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- California-based Composite Engineering has contracted Herley Industries to deliver its suite of avionics technologies as part of an Air Force target program.
U.S. company Herley announced it will provide CEi with its Command and Control Transponders and Electro-Explosive Devices among other technologies from its Air Force Sub-scale Aerial Target suite.
Officials say the avionics suite deal, part of an Air Force target program, is worth $16 million.
"We are enthusiastic about continuing our relationship with CEi on this important program as we enter the sixth year of production," Wayne Armstrong, Micro Systems president, said in a statement.
"Our partnership with CEi on this and other key programs has been a mutually beneficial one that we expect to continue for many years."
