Lunarline appoints cybersecurity expert

ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- U.S.-based security solutions provider Lunarline Inc. announced the appointment of a cyber-terrorism expert as the new head of its Cyber Security Division.

Waylon Krush, Lunarline chief executive officer, announced the selection of 25-year security, information assurance and intelligence operations veteran Julie Mehan to lead the company's Cyber Security unit.

Mehan, who has worked on cybersecurity issues for the U.S. Defense Department and security programs for the U.S. Army Europe, is an author and recognized expert on "cyber war, cybersecurity and cyber-terrorism," a release said.

"It is absolutely critical for a leading cybersecurity solutions company to have the best of the best," Krush said in a statement.

"I have personally worked for Dr. Julie Mehan in cybersecurity and have seen her leadership and knowledge to be critical components in developing successful new programs and to fill gaps where (the) Defense Department and other agencies are very limited or have no current capabilities at all."
