ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 24 (UPI) -- U.S. information technology solutions developer CACI International has named a new executive to support the company's national security strategy initiatives.
Paul Cofoni, CACI president and chief executive officer, announced the appointment of Charles Gallaway, a U.S. Homeland Security Department veteran, to a vice president post at the company supporting national security strategies.
Gallaway joins the defense and intelligence market company following his role as a Domestic Nuclear Detection Office acting director at the Department of Homeland Security. Gallaway has also served in a previous high-level post at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
"We are happy to welcome Dr. Gallaway to CACI," Cofoni said in a statement.
"With his decades of hands-on involvement in national security, helping to detect and counter threats to our homeland, he will be an extremely valuable member of our team. We look forward to his strategic input in strengthening CACI's capabilities as a national asset for national priorities."
