PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec. 15 (UPI) -- HP Enterprise Services has completed a second phase of a command system technology for Bosnia and Herzegovina defense applications.
U.S. company HP announced it has completed an implementation of an operations and command system for the Bosnia and Herzegovina Ministry of Defense as part of a U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency Encore contract vehicle.
HP says the command system is designed to provide Bosnia and Herzegovina defense authorities next-generation emergency coordination and control capabilities. The two-phase development and implementation project was funded by the U.S. State Department.
"The Operational Control System provides Bosnia and Herzegovina Ministry of Defense with the tools needed to effectively manage critical operations during emergency situations," Dennis Stolkey, HP Enterprise Services U.S. Public Sector senior vice president, said in a statement.
