
WESTWOOD, Mass., Dec. 9 (UPI) -- U.S. company Acumentrics Corp. announced the launch of its next-generation power technology designed to support ruggedized military requirements.
Acumentrics has launched its ACB625R-36B Rugged Uninterruptible Power Supplies as part of an effort to release a smaller and lighter technology to address evolving military power demands.
The ACB625R-36B is designed to accept several power input requirements and provide troops operating in the field with 500 Watts of power while weighing only 42 pounds.
"We are expanding our engineering team for the purpose of developing a broader Rugged Uninterruptible Power Supplies product line," Steven Graves, Acumentrics sales vice president, said in a statement.
"Based on favorable response from our customers, we are developing additional products that we look forward to introducing in the years to come."
