ST. LOUIS, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Raytheon Missile Systems has awarded LaBarge Inc. a follow-on contract to support the anti-armor assault missile platform deployed by the U.S. Army and NATO.

St. Louis-based LaBarge announced a new agreement with Raytheon to support the defense contractor's tube-launched, optically-tracked, wireless-guided, or TOW, weapon system program.

Under the $7.3 million deal, LaBarge will deliver its complex wiring harnesses for the TOW weapon system, a long-range, anti-armor assault weapon system used by the Army and NATO among others.

According to a news release, "TOW is in service with more than 40 international armed forces and is integrated on more than 15,000 ground, vehicle and helicopter platforms worldwide."
