
COLUMBIA, Md., Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Integral Systems Inc. has been selected to provide BAE Systems with ground station network technologies to support an Australian Defense Force program.
U.S. company Integral Systems says its Newpoint Technologies and SAT Corp. units have been selected to provide BAE Systems Australia's JP2008 phase IIIF contract with integrated ground station network support.
BAE is under contract to design a new satellite ground station for the Australian Defense Force as part of the JP2008 phase IIIF program. Under the deal with Integral Systems, which includes support from subcontractor Clearbox Systems, Newpoint will deliver its Compass Network Management solution and SAT will provide its MonicsNET Carrier System Monitoring support.
"We are proud to provide our integrated services and partner with BAE Systems Australia in support of Australia's defense," Stuart Daughtridge, Integral Systems executive vice president of products, said in a statement.
"The interface of our products, the ability to build out the system as needed and enable local management of operations will allow for network efficiency with the best commercially available tools."
