BALTIMORE, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- United Arab Emirates company Belcom has placed an order for View Systems Inc. to deliver its threat detection screening technologies.
U.S. company View Systems announced its authorized international dealer and business partner Belcom placed an order for 40 of its ViewScan units. The order adds to View Systems growing presence in the Middle East with its ViewScan technologies deployed in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
View Systems says the order for its ViewScan, designed to alert authorities in the event an illicit object is detected, is expected to ship before January.
"Substantial orders from our international dealers are a testament to the reliability and value of the ViewScan product," Gunther Than, View Systems chief executive officer, said in a statement.
"Belcom has proven itself as a strong representative by successfully marketing our products to their target areas and bringing in orders."
