ManTech selected to support PM DCATS

FAIRFAX, Va., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Apptis has contracted ManTech International to support the U.S. Army's Project Management office for Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems.

U.S. company ManTech announced it received a subcontract from Apptis for the company to continue providing the Army's PM DCATS with information technology solutions support.

Under the $40 million deal, ManTech will provide PM DCATS, responsible for global information connectivity operations, with command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance services.

"Warfighters, major commands and combatant commanders worldwide rely on PM DCATS to provide communications connectivity," Lawrence Prior, ManTech President and chief operations officer, said in a statement.

"Our global, rapid response capabilities, and extensive experience supporting C4ISR and other systems lead the industry. We have a long and successful history supporting the PM DCATS mission and with this new award we are delighted to continue that partnership."
