NG awarded DHS EAGLE contract

RESTON, Va., Nov. 11 (UPI) -- The U.S. Homeland Security Department has awarded Northrop Grumman a Decision Support Services contract to help strengthen communication.

U.S. company Northrop Grumman was selected as part of the Enterprise Architecture Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions information technology services contract by the Homeland Security Department.

Under the $46 million deal, Northrop Grumman will provide the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency with technical services to support decision support applications among other enterprise communication enhancements.

"The Northrop Grumman team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this task order as a leading provider of information technology solutions to the federal government," Dave Nastase, Northrop Grumman's Civil Systems division vice president of advanced public services, said in a statement.

"This project will help us continue our mission-focused approach to providing innovative solutions that ensure the most effective response to the department's needs."
