CACI to support Army I2WD

ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has contracted CACI International Inc. to provide the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate with technical and engineering support.

U.S. company CACI was awarded the contract to support the I2WD at the Army's Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center.

As part of the $75 million Technical Engineering Support Services contract, CACI will provide support for the I2WD including evaluations, enhancement and support for rapid response among other engineering and technical services helping the Army counter evolving terrorist threats.

"This award enables CACI to continue to provide the U.S. Army with the best possible intelligence and information warfare solutions for our nation's warfighters," Bill Fairl, CACI president of U.S. operations, said in a statement.

"In this highly competitive arena, the win further demonstrates our expertise and competence in providing proven solutions to Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center and I2WD."
