FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 28 (UPI) -- The U.S. National Media Exploitation Center has awarded a follow-on contract to ManTech International to continue providing information technology support.

U.S. company ManTech announced it was awarded a $76 million contract from the NMEC, a program from the U.S. Director of National Intelligence with the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Under the deal, ManTech will continue to provide NMEC with IT, engineering and operational services supporting the program's objective to use documents and other media collected in battlefield environments for strategic insight.

"Providing mission-critical, enterprise IT support for intelligence community organizations such as NMEC, and other Defense Department and federal agencies is one of ManTech's core competencies," Larry Prior, ManTech International president and chief operating officer, said in a statement.

"We look forward to continuing our support for NMEC and helping them to provide timely, objective, all-source military intelligence to policy makers, war fighters, and force planners."
