LOS ANGELES, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Universal Detection Technology has been invited to present its biological threat warning system to the 2012 London Olympics organizers.

U.S. company UNDT announced it will present its rapid response biodetection kits at the 2009 Terrorism and Security Conference scheduled to take place in London in November.

Company officials say the presentation is part of an effort to demonstrate its early warning monitoring technologies to counter potential terrorist threats at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

"The security risks associated with high-profile international events, such as the 2012 London Olympics, cannot be underestimated," Jacques Tizabi, UNDT chief executive officer, said in a statement.
