FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 16 (UPI) -- SRA International Inc. has received a contract from the U.S. Defense Department to provide continued support for rapid fielding programs.
U.S. company SRA announced it was awarded an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity task order from the Department of Defense Office of the Director, Defense Research and Engineering.
Under the $28 million Rapid Fielding Office Support re-compete task order, SRA will continue to provide operational support services including technical and domain expertise among other rapid fielding requirements.
"This is a critical contract for ensuring the transformational and innovative operational concepts and technical solutions formulated within the Rapid Fielding Office are quickly transitioned to warfighters," Pat Burke, SRA senior vice president national security sector, said in a statement.
"SRA is proud of our 13 years of delivering the highly specialized services that support and optimize Rapid Fielding Office's mission operations."
