SPRINGFIELD, Va., Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Versar says its personal protective equipment production unit has been listed by the U.S. General Services Administration as a contract supplier.
U.S. company Versar says its Geomet Technologies subsidiary has been selected as a General Services Administration Schedule Contract Supplier.
With the certified listing Geomet's chemical protective suits and other personal protection equipment can be more easily purchased by the military and government customer base.
"Geomet's listing on the GSA Schedule is essential for reaching our customer base," Ted Prociv, Versar president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.
"Federal government agencies and the military can now deal more efficiently and smoothly with Geomet."
