FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has contracted ICF International to conduct research on manpower, personnel and leadership.

U.S. company ICF was awarded the contract from the Army Research Institute. Under the $60 million indefinite delivery indefinite quantity deal, ICF will provide its military researchers to Army Research Institute.

Officials say ICF, a provider of professional services for the defense and homeland security markets among others, is expected to support the Army Research Institute by studying manpower, personnel, and leader development among other requirements.

"ICF is pleased to be a prime contractor to ARI on this important research and analysis contract," James Harris, ICF senior vice president, said in a statement.

"We look forward to working closely with the research team at ARI to provide sustainable solutions to complex issues."
