LONDON, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Authorities from the European Security and Defense Forum announced a solicitation for papers addressing transnational security threats for a November workshop.
Organizers of the New Transnational Security Challenges and Responses workshop, scheduled to take place in November at London-based Chatham House, are inviting contributions as part of the European Security and Defense Forum's International Security Program.
The security workshop is part of an effort to address whether security challenges are understood comprehensively and whether responses to evolving threats are available and efficiently integrated among other ongoing concerns.
According to a news release, the abstracts should address "new demands on European defense and security policy; the implications these have for structures of defense; and the global, regional and local dimensions of future conflict."
