CACI awarded ETOSS follow-on deal

ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 20 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has awarded CACI International Inc. a follow-on contract to the company's Engineering, Technical and Operations Support Services award.

U.S. company CACI was awarded a Technical Engineering Support Services contract from the Army to support the Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate.

The Technical Engineering Support Services award, a follow-on to CACI's ETOSS contract, is worth up to of $900 million. As part of the award CACI will provide the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate's mission-critical warfare capabilities operations with scientific and engineering support services.

"CACI intelligence and information warfare solutions for the U.S. Army assure mission continuity and give troops the integrated information systems they need to protect themselves and defeat adversaries," Bill Fairl, CACI president of U.S. operations, said in a statement.

"Our experts will help Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate identify, develop, evaluate, and insert emerging information technologies into operational systems to provide reliable and effective tools in the war on terrorism."
