HORSHAM, Pa., Aug. 18 (UPI) -- U.S. company Mace Security International Inc. announced plans to launch a new product line in a move to strengthen the company's security portfolio.

Tuesday Mace announced the launch of its new MaceTrac Access Control product line. MaceTrac, designed to be part of the company's authorized dealer program, is expected to be available for the North and Latin America markets.

Mace, a personal defense and electronic surveillance products developer, says its new MaceTrac will have nine key components designed to enhance the company's security offerings.

"We are strengthening our security product lines, and our dealer relationships with this new product addition," Dennis Raefield, Mace chief executive officer and president, said in a statement.

"We are very excited about entering the Access Control market and believe we will be highly competitive."
