ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md., Aug. 12 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has contracted Parsons Infrastructure and Technology Group to support the Military Munitions Response Program.

California-based Parsons was awarded the task order to provide remedial investigation services at Camp Bullis located at Fort Sam Houston in Texas. Under the approximately $333,900 award, Parsons will support two Military Munitions Response Program sites.

Officials say the Camp Bullis award will last more than two years at the MMRP sites.

According to a news release, the MMRP "addresses the potential explosives safety, health, and environmental issues caused by past Department of Defense munitions related activities."
