ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 5 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has selected Binary Group to compete for Program Management Support Services 2 task orders supporting the future force initiative.
Virginia-based Binary, a strategic information technology program support services provider, was among five awardees selected by the Army's Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems to participate in the PMSS2 contract vehicle.
The PMSS2, worth approximately $478.6 million in task orders for all the companies, is designed to provide IT-related program management support for command, control, and communications as part of the future force initiative.
"Although Binary is the smallest company of the five awardees, I believe we have the best advantage because we know the culture and inner-workings of Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems and Office of the Army Chief Information Officer/G-6," Rose Wang, Binary chief executive officer, said in a statement.
"We have built a creditable team and are ready to deliver."
