MIAMI, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Authorities from the Florida Supreme Court have contracted Wellbilt International to deliver its blast-wall protection technologies.
U.S. company Wellbilt International announced it has been contracted by the Florida Supreme Court to deliver its Sure-Board Wall Panels. Wellbilt's blast-wall protection system was selected in a move to protect the court from high velocity hurricane winds and also provide security from potential terrorist threats.
Officials say the impact-resistant Sure-Board Wall Panels also support Florida's strict building codes.
"We understand the demands that architects place on products and the builders that implement their plans," Alina Van Katwyk, Wellbilt International president, said in a statement.
