EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Aug. 3 (UPI) -- The U.S. Coast Guard placed an order with Aura Systems Inc. for the company to provide its mobile power generator technologies.
California-based Aura Systems received an order from the Coast Guard for the additional delivery of its Viper mobile power generators for use on patrol boats. The Coast Guard, which previously contracted Aura Systems to equip 90 patrol boats, has ordered approximately 36 additional units.
Aura Systems announced it has received an additional order from the South Korean army. Under the deal, Aura Systems will deliver approximately 110 more of its Viper systems.
The combined orders are worth more than $1.1 million.
"The new releases from existing customers are the best testimonial as to the excellent attributes of the Viper mobile power solution," Melvin Gagerman, Aura System chief executive officer, said in a statement.
