
RESTON, Va., July 27 (UPI) -- The U.S. Air Force has contracted NCI Inc. to provide the Combat Information Transport System Program Office with support services.
U.S.-based information technology and engineering services provider NCI was awarded the task order as part of the Air Force Network-Centric Solutions contract vehicle.
Under the approximately $3.6 million award, NCI will provide the Air Force Combat Information Transport System Program Office with warfighter information transport capabilities among other command and control requirements primarily at Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii.
"NCI is pleased to have been selected by the Air Force Combat Information Transport System customer to provide these important transformational capabilities," Terry Glasgow, NCI president, said in a statement.
"Our involvement with this customer is very important to us, and we are committed to delivering outstanding support for them in these vital functions."
