HERNDON, Va., July 15 (UPI) -- The U.S. Air Force has contracted Trusted Computer Solutions to provide the Cryptologic Systems Group with cross domain support services.

U.S. company TCS says its Professional Services Team was awarded the contract to assist the Air Force's specialized security support CPSG unit with its SecureOffice Trusted Gateway technologies.

Under the two-year, $2.1 million contract, TCS will use its SecureOffice system, which supports the multi-directional transfer of data, to help the CPSG establish a management office working on cross domain solutions and also a lab environment to test cross domain advances among other requirements.

"As the management office and government sponsor for our SecureOffice Trusted Gateway product, the Air Force will be taking the lead in managing the certification and accreditation process," Ed Hammersla, TCS chief operating officer, said in a statement.

"In addition, this win supports our strategy to pursue services offerings in the management consulting area, including management office establishment, process support and managed services."
