HUNTSVILLE, Ala., July 13 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has awarded Agility Defense and Government Services three contracts to provide storage support and logistics services.

U.S. company and integrated logistics provider Agility DGS was awarded the contracts totaling $128 million from the Army Installation Management Command.

Company officials say the contracts are for storage services of privately owned vehicles that involve taking responsibility for storing soldiers' vehicles while they are on deployment. The storage services are for soldiers based at six installations in the eastern United States, an Army installation in Hawaii and six installations in the western United States.

"These awards broaden Agility DGS's service offerings and mark our first wins with Army Installation Management Command," Dan Mongeon, Agility DGS president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.

"Storage of private vehicles is another logistics solution we are able to offer to our customers."
