SAN ANTONIO, July 10 (UPI) -- Gas turbine engine service provider Chromalloy announced an agreement for sales and marketing in Latin America with TSI Aviation Inc.

Texas-based Chromalloy says the TSI Aviation exclusive agreement significantly expands the company's sales and marketing of its manufacturer approval parts and high-pressure turbine blade repairs among other parts and services for military and commercial aircraft.

Company officials say prior to the sales and marketing agreement Chromalloy only had representation in Brazil.

"Chromalloy serves gas turbine engine operators in regions around the world with reliable, high performance parts, repairs and equipment," Armand Lauzon, Chromalloy president, said in a statement.

"With this agreement, we now expand our full line of turbine component design and casting expertise to commercial and military aircraft operators across Latin America."
